London Ontario is a culturally diverse city located in the heart of southwestern Ontario, just off the 401, halfway between Toronto, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan. The economy of London is based on a growing business sector that includes manufacturing, information technology, insurance, life sciences and biotechnology.
London has a strong community spirit with arts, music and food, and sports-related events almost every week in the summer, big charity drives throughout the year, and a host of tourist spots. London is known as the "Forest City" because of its extensive commitment to green spaces which include bike trails along the banks of the Thames River.
Home to the University of Western Ontario, Ivey Business School, Fanshawe College, and world class medical facilities, it offers an academically rich atmosphere that includes a wide variety of elementary schools. Its reasonable housing prices and cost of living, coupled with its diverse shopping, nightlife, and urban cultural amenities, make London a great place to live!
